Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML
• Knowledge of web applications, web services, unit-testing, shell scripting
• Familiarity with RDBMS (SQL), NoSQL (Cassandra/Solr) – a plus
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Code/Test coverage
• Good understanding of API design, distributed systems, functional programming
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile environment

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Participate in business requirements review, build functional & technical design documentation
• Develop API tests, integration tests, and end-to-end test scenarios
• Review team code, ensure high-quality deliverables
• Work on proof of concepts and evaluate new technologies
• Collaborate across teams to improve productivity and predictability

Preferred Qualifications

• 0–2 years of work experience in the technology industry
• Hands-on coding and testing experience
• Familiarity with agile methodology and software development lifecycle
