🧑‍💻 Job Role – Junior SAP Engineer

As a Junior SAP Engineer, you will be part of the Application Managed Services (AMS) team. You’ll support clients with their ERP, Middleware, and other business-critical software operations. This includes incident resolution, request handling, and proactive infrastructure monitoring.

🎯 Your Responsibilities

• ⚙️ Implement and maintain multiple SAP instances (development, test, training, production).
• 📦 Manage SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS).
• 🔁 Perform migrations, refreshes, upgrades, builds, and rollouts of SAP components.
• 🖨️ Administer and configure printers in SAP systems.
• 🧠 Manage non-HANA DB operations (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Sybase, MaxDB) – experience with at least 2.
• 🛠️ Troubleshoot HANA memory and performance issues.
• 📊 Maintain SAP system performance and background job scheduling.
• 🧾 Manage SAP client operations (create, copy, delete, import/export).
• 📁 Perform database backups, tuning, and restore using SAP HA/DR strategies.
• 📚 Document SAP instances and all system interfaces.

💼 Skills Required

• SAP system administration and optimization.
• Experience with HANA and non-HANA databases.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, workload management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in upgrades, rollouts, and migrations of SAP environments.
• Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) practices.
