About the Role
Moody’s Corporation is hiring for the role of Senior Financial Data Analyst to support its Structured Finance Rating Group. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals interested in credit analysis, structured finance, and data research.
Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting (required).
- CFA / FRM certification would be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in credit/financial data analysis or structured finance.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Good understanding of structured finance and basic capital markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis, research, and validation for structured finance ratings.
- Review and interpret financial reports, official statements, and issuer performance documents.
- Prepare key indicators, ratios, charts, and graphs based on Moody’s standards.
- Collaborate with rating analysts to gather and validate data requirements.
- Participate in process improvement and data quality projects.
- Resolve data mapping issues and ensure accuracy in data intake.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on routine deliverables and queries.
