Required Skills

• Strong experience in writing Design Documents and performing Code Reviews
• Ability to define & write implementation specifications, develop algorithms, and translate design docs into working code
• Proficient in Core Java, J2EE, EJB 3, Hibernate, JPA, Spring, XMLBeans
• Expertise in Web Services, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP, Servlet, Tag Library, XSLT, SQL
• Hands-on with MQ, JMS, WebSphere, WebLogic
• Good to have: Microservices, Java 8 Development, Spring Boot
• Strong analytical & logical skills, with good communication abilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Write design documents and implementation specifications
• Develop algorithms and implement code from design documents
• Create and execute unit test plans
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
• Perform peer code reviews
• Mentor team members when required
• Provide technical support to clients
• Ensure performance tuning and adherence to design patterns
